Cactus in the Desert Southwest

A cactus shows how life can be harsh in the American Southwest. Extreme temperatures, limited water, and rocky terrain make life here difficult. Yet, God places all things in place for his reasons. These different types of desert vegetation dot the landscape throughout the Phoenix, AZ region.  It’s one of my favorite places for the harsh, yet simple nature of the surroundings.
